Growing Trend of Adding Solar-Powered B-Lamps Over Stop Signs in Unsignaled Intersections

There has been a noticeable increase in the use of our bracketed solar-powered B-Lamps installed over stop signs in known dangerous, unsignaled intersections. In 2022, intersections without signals accounted for 18.4% of traffic fatalities and 65% of intersection fatalities. Intersections controlled by stop signs can be dangerous as some drivers consider them “optional”, or a “suggestion.”. Research reveals 60-70% of drivers do not come to a complete stop. 

Budget Friendly Un-Signaled Intersection Safety Solution

To address this issue, local municipalities have been making efforts to enhance unsignalized intersections, and they have seen positive results with our solution. The practice of mounting lights over stop signs to increase motorists awareness has grown significantly.
